Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Swiss Days

First, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Labor Day. I sure hope you are all having fun with your family and friends. I had some fun last Friday when daughter #1 and I went to Midway, Utah for Swiss Days. There's food, fun and entertainment galore. We got there about 8:30 AM and it was already packed with people.
They have a wonderful craft show and sale.

They had all kinds of cute crafts, lots of halloween, Christmas, pottery, metal stuff, paper crafting and cute little hats for adorable little boys.

These cute things were made out of window screen and then painted. Does anyone know how to make these? I tried to google painted window screens and didn't have any luck.

The crow and gourd booth I know that shellie bought a neat crow picture that had a french label on it, really cool.
I bought a bunch of the fabric head bands, the girls looked at me like "what?" But I am wearing one now and think they are fun. Even though I am ___ years old!

Oooo I'm so happy you took lots of pics to share with us. Wish we all could have gone! But my favorite was "the cute little boy wearing the cute little hat." : )
Hey will you do me a favor and tell Janis her special order is waiting for her over at my Shop? I know she's not a daily blogger, so I thought I'd ask her friend, Mimi Sue, to give the message. : )
Thanks so much,
M.L.
