Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. More of the Same and Hope

We woke up to this lovely sight this morning. The weatherman said it would be clear for the rest of the week and temperatures in the 50's. HA!

Then I looked a little closer and noticed some tulips were peeking out of the ground...

And I saw that my new banner is a cheerful addition to the front porch...

The new Valentine garden flag was waving cheerfully in the breeze...

The glittery heart was sparkling...

and the birdies were merrily chirping...

Maybe next week we'll get some warmer weather and some blue skies. We can only hope.

They told me that is had snowed. I've been sick and I slept until 10.00 that day. It was all melted when I woke up.

I love you heart pictures in those frams. Did you make them? I made a heart banner too, I didn't get a very good picture of it, but I'll post it tomorrow.

How you room down stairs coming?

valentine hugs

Your home looks so festive for the Valentine weekend!
Its starting to warm up here in So California, today it was around 76 degrees and tomorrow its suppose to be 80. I am so excited for spring to come. Most of my bulb plants are blooming, I probably need to take pictures of them!
Have a nice Valentine Day tomorrow.
