Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. I love this quote. I recently had a terrible time with a friend who turned on me, and know it will never be the same relationship again. What a shame. Wish she'd left me better than when she found me. :)

What a beautiful quote.
I had a nice trip down memory lane in your last post. We used to go to Flaming Gorge every year when I was a child.

Hello Sue! You said you lived in Santa Barbara! After I got married (I was 18), my parents moved to Santa with my 2 little sisters who both went to school and church their. Does the last name Renfrow ring a bell? Another sister, last name Kaeser lived there to. I am not sure what ward my parents were in. My Dad still lives there in the same home. I LOVE Santa Barbara!
