Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Busy Week

The Mister and I spent Thanksgiving week in California with these little sweetpeas and their mommy and daddy of course.  Hope your Thanksgiving was as wonderful as ours.  On the way home to Utah our fuel pump went out and we had to spend 3 nights in Mesquite, Nevada!  Not a fun thing to do during this super busy time of year.  Got home on Tuesday, friends from California were here to spend the week.  Festival of Trees started on Tuesday. I'll be driving back and forth (about 40 minutes each way) for the rest of the week.  I have to give a lesson in our church's women's organization on Sunday, then next Tuesday night is a dinner at church.  I'm making 12 centerpieces, tag ornaments, and baked pasta for 75 for that event.  I still have fall decorations up, haven't vacummed the floor in 3 weeks, and our company is wondering what they've gotten themselves into.  I'll be back when I have a minute!

If life can be busy, this is the time of year! I just spent some time catching up in my house and I know the thrill of wiping away several weeks of dust! Your grandchildren are very cute! Fun to spend time with them!

You've got a lot on your plate! At least you were able to spend some time with the little cuties! Car trouble is the pits! Especially when you have to spend 3 nights somewhere other than home!

Take care!

Like it all except staying in mesquite for 3 unexpected days!

It's nice to have your plate full...enjoy it all! Especially your company.

Can I teach you the word "NO".
or better yet "No thank you, not right now, maybe another time?"
