Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Christmas Dishes

Around the first week in December when we take out all the Christmas decorations I find a few
boxes marked 'Christmas Dishes'.  My heart goes pitter patter.

All our every day dishes, glasses, mugs and platters come out of the cupboards and our Christmas dishes take their place.

I have quite a collection and I love them all.  One more thing that makes me happy at this happy time of year.

Oh so pretty! I have a huge collection of Christmas mugs! I love the white plates with red snowflakes and Joy and the white plates with holly!

You know, I've decided that you can replace your name with mine on practically every single one of your posts. On account of everything that brings YOU joy, also brings ME joy. LOVE me some holiday dishes~

Your dishes are lovely. Isn't it fun to find our once forgotten Christmas treasures?

They're so pretty! Well, I wanted to buy some Christmas dishes, but I just cleaned out the china cabinet and now there isn't room. Oh well, I'd rather have a sewing room!
