Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Christmas in October

As some of you might remember I'm on a committee for the
big Primary Children's Medical Center fund raiser held each December.

The Festival of Trees is held the first weekend in December and
raises millions of dollars for our local children's hospital.

One of the events of the weekend is a boutique with mostly
hand made items for sale.  Everyone that's on a committee is asked to donate
ten items for the boutique.

Usually I wait til the very last minute.  This year I'm a couple of weeks early.

Here's what I came up with...

Some tags, to be sold in sets of three.

And some embellished battenburg lace stockings.

Everything's all packaged up and ready to be turned in at the end of October.

It's truly a Christmas miracle!
