Our good friend Tom, a single father, has a son who just graduated from high school and is away for a week at lifeguard training in Newport Beach. Tom told us on Saturday night that he feels like the second half of the Harry Chapin, Cat's in the Cradle song. He is texting his son who replies, can't talk now dad, maybe tomorrow.
