Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Valentine Birds

So it's a week past Valentine's Day but I thought I'd show you a little Valentine  project
that I saw on line somewhere.

They're made out of Dollar Store Christmas doves, some red and cream shred,
scraps of scrapbook paper, scraps of ribbon, craft store nests, and a glass candle holder or a glass punch cup.

Oh, and a couple of puffy, glittered hearts.

Make a little cone for a hat, embellish it with a junk bow.

Just glue everything together with hot glue.

Oh, nice, I just noticed my vacuum photo bombing my picture.

I made two in less than an hour.

And that included gathering up the supplies.

Maybe I should make some St Patrick's Day birds too.

Adorable! Who cares that V day is past? Maybe we need the idea to be ready for next year! Have to laugh about the vacuum photobomb. I almost always find some silly thing photobombing my pics.
