Mimi Sue's Cottage
A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Sunflowers
We had a bumper crop of sunflowers this year. They are in our side yard and can be seen from the street. I didn't plant any they all self-seeded. The birds love them. The bees love them. I love them. I'm leaving the remains of them there to feed the birds over the winter and I hope next year we'll have another bumper crop.

You should save some seeds; we could have a seed swap! The photos are great.
A gift from the breeze, the birds and the bees! They are gorgeous! That's my kind of gardening. LOL!
What is it about Sunflowers that always puts a smile on one's face? They have to be the happiest flower every created. Thanks for sharing these photos with us. : )

How fun, nice when something so pretty comes without any work!
I love that they are self seeded...I always pull mine out when they start to die...Next year I am leaving them and letting them self seed!
