Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Aprons

Penny at Lavender Hill Studio showed us her apron collection so I thought I'd show you mine. Although I never really considered it a collection until now. They are hanging on an antique rack right off our kitchen area so I can admire them everyday. I use them too cause I'm a messy cook. My dear friend Paula made this one for me one Christmas. It has a vintage button and I love it.
Of course if you find a toile apron you have to buy it.

I got an apron when I volunteered for Festival of Trees. When I wear it I think of the fun time I had and the nice people I worked with.

I have other aprons too and I love them all. Do you have an apron collection?

I don'thave any aprons--but I should. I'm messy too. I love the polka-dot one. That one might actually make cooking fun!

I like your white kitchen cupboards, too by the way. They're so clean and refreshing to look at.

When I read Penny's post I said to myself "get out your aprons and post about them". I never did. Now I see your cute post, and I'm saying it again! Maybe sooner or later, I'll get it done! I never thought about mine being a "collection" either.

YES I DO!!! And it looks very similar to yours. But then I thought it would. : )
I hope you don't mind that I showed your snowman collection on my last post...and gave you the credit. : )
Thanks so much for the tutorial link! I wish I knew how to just highlight a word and THAT would take people to another site. Is it very involved to learn how?
Have a nice weekend Mimi Sue.
