Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Sunday Sayings

Oh, for the good old days when people would stop
Christmas shopping when they ran out of money.

What a cute post! I appreciate you visiting tonight. I know what you mean about being good at jacks but it's getting harder to get up out of the floor! I have the same problem. I'm sorry for the loss of your Mother too - I know holidays bring back many fond memories for you and of course you are creating new memories with the grandbabies. God bless.

Oh how true that is. I used to make everything and I still feel guilty that I don't anymore.

color on buffet: ralph lauren kaki ul60 i got it at home depot. and i rolled the first and second coat, and brushed it to finish it. i still have to put a glaze or varnish but that will happen when the weather is warmer so it dries faster.

Hi Mimi
How true! This year for the first time ever we ARE stopping buying when we run out of money. I think lot of folks will be doing that this year. I feel sorry for the store owners!Hugs, Rhondi

So true! A sale isn't a deal if you don't have the cash to spend!
