A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth.Thomas S Monson

The Greatest Snow on Earth
We have had a lot of snow this year. We live in Utah where it says right on our license plates "Utah, the greatest snow on earth". Whatever. It's not that great when you have to shovel it to get your car out of the garage.
This week, on some of your blogs, I've seen daffodils blooming in California, Florida, and some of the other southern states. These are the Utah daffodils. Oh, and the greatest snow on earth.
Ha Ha. LOL. So I'm not the only one that has longing for warm sunny hazy "green" days! Utah does have the "greatest snow on Earth", and I think it's all on the Wasatch Front!!! Here in the basin we are having the mud season. In case you are thinking this a nice season, it is not. However, the up side of the mud season is that the roads are dry and clear and we aren't shoveling any snow. (But wait, we need more snow to get us through the growing season...) Oh what a fickle mess winter can be... LOL!♥ Lewaina Thank you much for your kind shopping offer....I would love nothing better than to be able to go with the three of you to these magical treasure finding places! :-) What Fun!
Northern Utah has really gotten it,haven't they? We've gotten a lot here in Cedar too and I'm tired of slippin and slidin on all the sidewalks. Took a drive to St.George on Wed. and it was so nice and dry and warm. Went to Tai Pan trading and got a few things. Love that store!!! This morn. the sun is shining and it looks like it might be a decent day. Hope you have a great weekend. Ginger
Oh...Mimi Sue, It's cold here but no snow,I can't imagine having that much snow. i am so used to come quick and go quick,if we get any at all.LOL As my mother used to say"It won't be as long as it has been". LOL Hang on I promise spring is coming. Thanks for sharing. Blessing, Sue
Sounds like your just a little bit sick of the snow...Don't feel too bad about nice weather in other places...Down here in Atlanta it is still in the 30's in the morning...to us that's worse then a snow storm....Sue.
Hi Sue, I loved the post. I am not a snow lover. Should I mention to you that it got up to 82 degrees today? Most of my kids live in Utah so I take every opportunity to rub it in to them when the weather is nice here and crummy there. Because they all use to live in California by us then they moved to Utah. I love your bulbs coming up through the snow! priceless! Love, Ann
How dare you leave the greatest snow on earth to be wearing flip flops! Hey, the sun is shining here and business is great...only not on snowy days! will plan on seeing your blog about your sunny vacation too!
Hello MimiSue, I too am a bit tired of snow. I just heard the weatherman say we are expecting some more this weekend. The shop you and your friends visited looks like so much fun. And you found such wonderful treasures. That is another thing Spring brings to my area--Flea markets and Estate Sales. I am really getting the bug to start these again. Stay safe and warm in Utah and hopefully Spring will arrive soon. xoxoxo Mimi~

I hope the snow let's up soon. I'm so ready for spring it's not even funny anymore. Sending warmer thoughts your way.

Everything is so white and pretty! I hope the Daffodils wait a bit longer!

I'm shivering just looking at all that snow; think I'll step outside and warm up a bit!
