Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Rose Trellis

The mister was kind enough to make me this beautiful trellis for our climbing rose to climb. Thank you mister! Isn't he the best?

Yes--is he for rent? You know, like you rent power tools at the Home Depot counter? ;)
I planted a climbing rose last spring and the poor thing is sending out long shoots and there's nothing there yet to support them. I'm hoping we find an old, abandoned wood ladder by the side of the road one day. Think that would work?

Your crisply painted white trellis is great! Isn't it nice to have a guy who can make "stuff"? I have 0 (zero) luck with roses but I'd love to grow something else on a trellis.

He sure is the best. I love the trellis he made you, and the climbing roses. I am laughing at Aubrey's comment about renting the mister.

Aubrey said she ran into you at the estate sale across the street from where you used to live. You'll have to show off some of your finds. I can't wait to see what the new ownners do with the house. I would be completely overwhelmed. Love your roses, we have a some roses on a trellis and I have no idea how to prune them, come to think of it I have no idea how to prune or trim anything in our yard.

Hi Mimi, thanks for visiting my blog. About the skirt I made for hannah. I don't know the name but I got it at Material Girls in South JOrdan. I'll stop there tomorrow and find out for you. I'm making another skirt for Kacie and a little dress for Mia from the same line.
