Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Blogging Friends

I really love blogging for many reasons. One of the best things about blogging is making new friends. Last summer I met Cindy through her cute blog, Stitches n Stuff. We have many things in common, as do so many bloggers. This past week I got a package in the mail from Cindy. She sent me this adorable bag. Love the Halloween fabric.
Cindy made me this matching card...
And cute tag. She also made be a bead bookmark that I didn't get a picture of because my camera's battery died! Take my word on this one, it's adorable. I love to read so it'll get plenty of use.

So thank you again, Cindy. I just love everything you sent me. You've made my whole week!

Hi Mimi Sue,
First of all I need to let out a scream, Ahhhhhh, over your Witch's Boot below. It's to Die For!!! Kudos to you, young lady!! I can't believe you made that. It's adorable!
This little bag here, is as cute as a button too. : )
I wanted to answer your question about the be-jeweled pumpkin in the photo. On the cover of the latest B.H.& Gardens Halloween magazine they have one just like it, with instructions inside. Everywhere they sell Scrapbooking supplies, you can buy sheets of plastic with long swirls of "rhinestones" on them. It's so great because you just peel off the long strip and attach it to whatever project you're working on. I hope this helped.
Have a great weekend. And please tell Janis how sorry I am about the Shingles. I've heard they're just miserable. : (

Sue - What a darling little gift she sent! I've been meaning to tell you that I stopped by your house on Thursday and left a little blue bag hanging on your front door knocker. Hopefully you got it alright?
