Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Fall Decorating

Mimi's been having fun putting out some of her Halloween and fall decorations. I say some because I still have one large bin full of stuff in the basement. And yet I still find things that I can't live without and come home with me. Like this cute little cupcake...And lots of things I've had for years...

I've put up some garland here and there...

The Oreo Halloween cookies are always a big hit.

Hope you all are having fun with your Halloween decorating.

Your fall decorations are the best, inside and out. I love the picture of the witches. I haven't been out walking forever so I haven't seen your cute front porch. I love the Halloween Banner, maybe I can tackle one of those next year!!!

I love the teensy little pumpkins in the jar! Everything is just lovely, it just screams "autumn is here, finally".

It's all soo cute--I love your porch stuff. Reminds me I need to go out and rearrange our pumpkins, since we went to Day farm and got big ones.

Did you make your banner with three layers of fabric like Joy does? I did one that way, but it took me a while (I'm slow) so I want to cheat and use one layer of fabric. Think it will work, or be too see-through outside?

Hi Mimi
All your Halloween decorating looks fun but not scary. I like that! I love how your porch lloks too, so welcoming and festive! I was surprised when you said you didn't have cardinals. I just assumed they were everywhere in the US. Hope you have a good week.
