Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Garden Party Cupcakes

A couple of weeks ago we had a little garden tour in our neighborhood. At the last garden we enjoyed a little cupcake refreshment. Aren't they cute? Chocolate cupcakes, oreo cookie crumb frosting and the little vegetables on top were made of candy. The carrots were starburst...The lettuce was cornflakes covered in green chocolate...
The peas were green m & m's the pod was a starburst as was the radish... The little green sprout was something like a sour thing...I can't remember, but they were so cute and fun. These were the only pictures I got on the garden tour. Sad but true.

It snowed today. The highs are in the 40's. I miss California on days like this!

Maybe we'll get summer next month...

Enjoy your day.

Apparently that last comment was still signed in by my little girl, Sophia! (it was really Kelly over @monarchpost! now I need to go get my child and figure out how to resign in!)

The cupcakes are so cute! And I cannot believe, while the weather is witheringly hot here, that anywhere it could possibly be snowing.
