Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. A Wedding

Yesterday our youngest daughter got married. Katie and Chris were married by a Justice of the Peace at the courthouse in Farmington. That's my new step grandson, Kolby. And the forehead of my other grandson, Alan. Both families then had a little celebration dinner at our home. Chris's mom made and decorated the cake, it was delicious. It was a lot of fun to meet Chris's family. Congratulations Chris and Katie!

Congratulation to your "baby". That is one lucky little boy...to get a daughter of yours as his other mommy! I'm sure she's been trained by one-of-the-best! : )
Darling cake, by the way!!!
And I was so sorry to hear about your shoulder. I hope it will heal up soon, as I'm sure you have TONS of projects that need your attention (if you're anything like me)!
Take good care,
Mary Lou

The cottage nest is growing Mimi...I thought there was some activity going on at the court house. Usually I stop, go outside and say ahhhhh, how sweet. It must have been cold/rainy or I would have seen your sweet newly weds.

You could have picked up your phone you know...I usually answer, could have waved at you!
