Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Black Eyed Susans

I'm completely addicted to wool applique. I wanted to make a little late summer project for the front door. This is what I came up with. This is where I got my inspiration.

They're growing right by the front porch.

To answer your question, we are making about 10 different crafts for our Super Craft Night, some of them are: pretty bracelets, sew your own grocery bag, a wood hanging plaque with a quote from Pres Monson, homemade facial sugar scrub, homemade soaps, hair bows, clips with flowers, homemade journals, etch your name in your glass casserole dish, no sew little girl tutu's etc. To bad you are so far, you could come!

Did you stuff it or is it just the way the picture was taken? It is really cute and good job coming up with the pattern.
