Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. New and Shiny

After almost 40 years of marriage (that's right, I was 2 when we tied the knot), some
of my equipment seems to be wearing out.

Also some of my housewares.

So I decided to do a little upgrading.

My stainless steel flatware was dull and dated after
14,965 dishwasher washings.  Go ahead do the math.

So I started to shop around and found these beauties at
Horchow online.

They are  perfect since we live in the Beehive State.

Aren't they cute?

New and shiny.

They're making me feel like I just might need a face lift.

You made me laugh. I know all about the wearing out process. I like your new silverware, too.

That silverware is awesome! Love the beehives!
I know what you're saying. We've been married 38 years and I was 4 when we married. :)

Have a wonderful day!

Yes, I hate it when my equipment wears out, lol. ahem. Why would you need a face lift? Unlike flatware, I prefer to think we gt better with age:>)
Love the pattern you chose, my flatware has gotten pretty dingy too. I purchased it a little at a time just before we got married. 31 years ago this year. How time flies...

Those are soo pretty, I'm 45 years old and just a couple of weeks ago, I bought my first nice set of silverware. Weve always had the cheap little sets that are so light, and the new ones are HEAVY! I was so proud and of course my family was not excited at all, they tease me, saying that they are so heavy, this winter when the work is slow, they are going to take them and sell them for scrap iron.... they are not nice guys!

Great new silverware...I still have many of the things that we got for wedding presents, but alot more have fallen by the wayside, and just plain used out. I do still have the crystal and silver though. Your new pattern is so pretty!
