Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Volunteer

Don't you just love it when plants show up in unusual places?

Nothing planned or tended just a lovely little surprise
from Mother Nature.

That old trash can is halfway full of potting soil and a little
bird must have deposited a little seed last fall.

The rain and sun did the rest.

Looks kind of cute next to our shed.

Thank you Mother Nature!

The birds most be working extra hard this year because I have never had so many flowers show up in places I hadn't planted.
It's thrilling, isn't it?

You have been having a whirl of fun this summer! I do love your little "volunteer"! Truly I love any little plant that grows and has some color! LOL
WE have had a ton of rain this year, like never before! Everthing is still so green here!
Enjoy
