Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Vintage Trailer Fun

The Mister and I have been working on our Summer 2011 Project for
the past few weeks.  We're installing sprinklers and digging ditches.
Not that much fun really.  In fact no fun at all.  But it'll be
so nice when it's all done.  When it becomes too hot to work outside
we come inside.  I've been working on this wool felt pillow for our
trailer during the hot afternoon hours.

I saw this adorable kitchen towel at The Beehive Cottage.

And I "borrowed" the idea for my felt project.

Maryjane has an adorable vintage trailer named "Buttonwillow" that you just have to see.

Hope your making some progress with the sprinklers!

How cute. I used to fix up old trailers but I got tired of them always needing fixing. I want a brand new toy-hauler motorhome with the money to be able to drive it further than the end of the driveway.

Mimi
Your trailer is just adorable.
I really love working with wool-it is so easy to sew with-no slipping around.
Of course the t-towel is cute too.
Take care!
