Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. A New Project

The other day I was driving by an antique mall and out of the corner of my eye I saw the cutest toddler chair ever. Since my grandchildren are the cutest kids in the universe I knew I had to have it. I couldn't stop at the time so #1 daughter and I went back yesterday and bought the chair. It's not in perfect shape, and it definitely needs some red paint but for the price it's gonna be great.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

this is going to be darling! I love finding things like this to fix up. Thanks for your comment to me about that vintage kitchen fabric. It reminds me of "home", my mom would repaper the kitchen and redo curtains but they were basically all kitchen type prints like this one, too.

You are lucky to live next to Farmer John! What a wonderful basket of goodies he dropped off!
