Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Not the Fun Stuff

I know I should be grateful, I really do. I know there are people who don't have a permanent roof over their head. People who are struggling with their health or have financial problems. I know I should not complain about trivial, selfish things when I have so much. But really, I'm tired of putting in sprinklers. Let's get on with the fun stuff, shall we?

Hi Mimi Sue,

Someone once told me that if a marriage can live through installing a sprinkler system, it can make it through anything. So true.
Thanks for the great tutorial on the banner. ADORABLE!

Looks like fun to me; I'd love to have a sprinkler system. Those darned garden hoses are a pain in the asters! (had to find an appropriate flower)

I understand your frustration - you're ready to move on to the pretty stuff. :)

I would feel the same way. I am not patient when it comes to projects. I always want the chaos to end and for things to be nice and neat again! I just saw the banner you did and it is adorable! You did a great job explaining what to do! It would be really cute and unique to do one for the shower you are having.

Just think of the hours you are going to save from hand watering those flowers. Nice to meet you.

Mimi - It'll be over soon, just hang in there. I'll be patient with you to see how you'll transform that yard.
Oh btw - Congrats! I have an award for you, please stop by to pick it up!
Have a wonderful day,
Tam

A sprinkler system would be a blessing! You will enjoy it! Of course, I just love when you are walking and then "WHAM!" in your face water from someones automatic times sprinker system!

Cute blog!

Hi Mimi Sue, I see you are installing a sprinkler system. It will all be worth it when its done! I do all our sprinklers here at our home in Southern California, I just have my husband help me when I reach a snag! After a while, you will become a pro at it!
Love, Ann
