Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Cute saying - never heard that one. I have glanced over your blog and I think our houses could become best friends too! I saw some of my beloved red toile and I knew we had tastes in common. I am so glad you found me so that now I know about you. I love to hear about house remodels and it looks like you have plenty of that going on. I will be reading your past posts today to catch up with what's been going on.

Hi Mimi Sue,

So glad you stopped by. And I love the little card you posted today. I just shared the saying with my daugher-in-law. Great advice. : )

I think that goes for wives/moms too.
