Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Fall Fun

I decided to do a little something different to my front door this year. Not very original but quick and easy, my kind of project. Bought some Indian corn. Wired three of them together. Tied a ribbon around it. Hung it on the door. The end.

Just the way you worded this post and abruptly said, "The end", made me laugh out loud. : ) The indian corn is actually very pretty!

I love the colors of that corn. I saw it in the store the other day, but was hesitant to buy it; I wasn't sure how long it would "keep". Also, didn't want the kitties messing with it; but up on the door, it would be out of their reach!
