Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Notecards

I got another delightful package in the mail today. A while ago I ordered some beautiful notecards from the oh so very talented Donna. These caught my eye as a gift for a dear friend and neighbor. She lived in Missouri for a couple of years and while she was there fell in love with cardinals. Since we don't have these beautiful birds in Utah, these notecards are the next best thing.
So beautiful. Thank you Donna. Go check out her lovely blog, etsy shop, and home.

Hi Mimi,
Oh my goodness, there's been a lot of fun goin' on over here. I love the things you got over at your Tai Pan store (great choices). And your Wisteria decorations...YUM!!! I got my pink
L O V E banner from Target two years ago, but I love yours in red. Oh, and about my mom's legs...I know! I'm so jealous. : )

Hi Mimi, I just had to come over to meet you. I have to tell you, my moms mother, we would call her Mimi instead of Grandma. It was just a pleasant surprise to see that name.

Gotta go to browse thru your post..

Hi Mimi,
Lovely cards, I have such a love for birds, they teach us so much,if we only would take the time to observe.
I am so blessed because we have so many different kinds here in the south, and one type just happens to be the cardinal.
Blessings,
Sue
