Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Rhondi's Porch Party

I had so much fun at Rhondi's Porch Party last year that I thought I might as well join the party this year as well. So have a seat on one of the rocking chairs...
Or how about the porch swing?

I love that Boston fern in an old birdcage stand.

The goat cart that the mister gave me for my birthday/anniversary/Valentine's day/Christmas one year.

Geraniums and petunias in an old wooden ice cream maker.

An American Flag the mister and I framed in an old window last year.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope to see you again soon.

Your porch is always so cute. It inspires me. Then my kids de-spire me. ;) I love your wool applique of your house-very clever.

The shred is Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred workout dvd. It's supposed to make your body look "shredded". Mine just jiggles a little less.
