Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. American Flags

One of my cute neighbors planted this flag in her front yard in May. Because of our cold spring it hasn't filled out quite yet, but it will.

I think it's adorable.

I like to have a few flag bouquets around for the holiday.

And some other flags made out of wood...

Or stitched on muslin...
Hope you all have a wonderful and safe 4th of July weekend with your family and friends. Make some memories and enjoy every minute.

What a cute flower bed! I love flag bouquets and flags stuck in my flowers on the porch too. I get out my little dollar store flags at the beginning of summer and all my pots get some, and my front door too, just because I think they are so beautiful:>) Happy Fourth to you and yours!
