Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Thomas S Monson

Mimi, Thank you so much for your tender words and prayers. I too am grateful for the peace and comfort the Gospel brings into our lives. We all are tried in various ways, and we need each other and our faith to triumph. Thank you for your understanding heart, and your friendship. I enjoy it. ♥ Lewaina

ps, yeah, I'm needing your wall as well:-)

Mimi,
Bless your heart! I don't think we want ever attempt to stat over with another yard. Whew what a lot of work. We ordered several truck loads of black(magic) gold to put in the flower beds. You can get this in throughthe reclamation plants. W.V. is where we ordered ours from. (Yes it is human waste but has been put through an extreme process of heat to clense;)
It truly helps everything grow beautifully and mixes well with the clay. We have both part sandy and part clay in our yard.

Ggood luck and I am sure it will look beautiful!

Hi Mimi...I came over from Nikki's blog. I saw your comment you left her and you said you are in Utah...so I am. My hubby and I retired here in 2005..Cedar City area. Are you north or south?
I love the picture of your home on your banner.
