Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Little Red Chair

Look what I found at Hobby Lobby last week!  If you don't have a Hobby Lobby near you
I'm so sorry!  Love that store.  Anyway, they had a couple of different kinds of little chairs
embroidered on tea towels.  I had to buy the one with the red chair.

 Why?
Because I have a real little red chair.  It was my great grandmothers.  She was less than 5 ft tall and kept it in her kitchen and used it to stand on to reach things in upper cabinets.  I love this little chair.  And I love the towel.  And you already know I love Hobby Lobby.
(Yes I know the baseboard is missing.  It's #267 on our to do list.)

First of all, I am jealous of not having a Hobby Lobby. I have almost the same little red chair except that is has one extra spindle in the back. I love the little towel. As for the nursery it is up behind the Cambria Pines Lodge. I believe it is owned by the same people. You have to visit it if you get into town. It is lovely and has a nice shop too but a bit pricey. I didn't even get in there because we had our two year old and she was busy running around outside.

(gotta have something here you don't there! lol)
Enjoy

Not only do I love Hobby Lobby AND the darling little red chair, but I also love the thought of a cute little under five foot grandma, climbing on the chair to reach things.

That towel is adorable, and darn it, I don't have a Hobby Lobby nearby! The fact that you have your grandmothers little red chair? (adorable!) Priceless:>)

What a cute, sentimental red chair. The towel just makes it perfect!

We do have a Hobby Lobby close by that just opened up and I haven't been there yet! Perhaps a visit should be my Saturday activity!
Love your red chair and your towel.
