Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Cheap Seats

We live in one of the cutest little towns in northern Utah. We love it here for many reasons. One of the reasons is the Kaysville Theatre. They show movies that are just about to come out on DVD. They don't have stadium seating, surround sound, or chairs that rock. They do have a fun, inexpensive date night. We usually go on weeknights. $2.00 admission....
Pretty good movies...

Cheap refreshments...

Under ten dollars for a movie, popcorn, and a drink. So much fun.

I think the Kaysville Theater is the reason we don't seem to want to move more than half a mile away. I wish we could buy the Burnham's house the current owneres are selling to be even closer, but it's way out of our range--we loved that neighborhood, though.

A trip to the Kaysville Theater is one of our favorite date nights! Believe it or not, I've actually gone to see movies there that I didn't really care about just because it meant I could eat the popcorn! LOL BTW - do you participate in the gooey gum 'EW'? That's my favorite part of the evening!

What are your favorite movies to watch while you sit in the "cheap seats"? Our version of the "cheep seats" is checking out movies from the Vernal library and watching them at home! Lol Happy Mothers Day Mimi Sue!

We used to have a great $1.00 theater that we would go to all the time...on the weekends it was packed...then it got to be a hangout for kids and....how do I say this nicely....it started to smell...I guess the young guys thought it was funny to "wet" the seats.....shortly after it went out fo business...now we never leave the house..We rent from the RedBox....a great bargain for $1.00 but not as much fun....Have a Wonderful Mother's Day!!
