Mimi Sue's Cottage

A home is much more than a house built of lumber, brick, or stone. A home is made of love, sacrifice, and respect. We are responsible for the homes we build. We must build wisely, for eternity is not a short voyage. There will be calm and wind, sunlight and shadows, joy and sorrow. But if we really try, our home can be a bit of heaven here on earth. Pantry Party

The mister and the son in law had a fun time last Saturday making and installing cabinets in the pantry. Please ignore the floor, I've got tile on back order.
Son in law Chason. Dad of the cutest grandson in the universe.

Beadboard backing, lots of storage. We still need to add a couple more shelves and some trim. We never seem to completely finish a project.

But it's way better than it was.

You stinky wink! I am soooo jealous. I need a pantry so bad. Especially one like yours.
Do you want to go to the Making Memories warehouse sale? It starts Saturday and goes through the 1st. Could be fun times, could be crazy.
Janis

PS Thank you for my sweet flower. I love it!

That is such a cool pantry--I love beadboard and have yet to put any in my house. Is that the one behind the blue door?

Yeah, we're okay. How come?

Oh, these are just breathtaking. I'm so happy for you!!! Have you ever heard of a little poem that goes something like this:
Whenever I want a gift from my little elves...don't buy me rubies or diamonds...just build me more shelves.
Boy did I butcher that compared to the original, I'm sure, but you get the drift. And it's SO true.
Have a great weekend! : )

Ohh, that pantry is to die for! I am really jealous....would your builders like to come to CA to build one for me? I have the perfect spot!

I too have pantry envy...love the bead board, I may have to show Mr. Bed of Roses, I do have a big wall in the laundry room for something like that...only i would need doors. Very clever...you always have great ideas for the home and yard Susie Q.
